John Barr

Mr. Barr brings more than 20 years of principal investing experience in both private and public companies and has worked on various M&A transactions, debt and equity financings, restructurings, and bankruptcies. Most recently, Mr. Barr was a director at the private equity firm ACON Investments where he focused on sourcing and executing investments in healthcare, consumer, and basic industries. Prior to that, Mr. Barr worked at Empyrean Capital Partners, an event-driven and special situation hedge fund; Goldman Sachs; Clarity Partners; and J.P. Morgan. Mr. Barr serves on the board of directors of Injured Workers Pharmacy, a Triton Pacific portfolio company, and previously served on the boards of BioMatrix Specialty Pharmacy, idX, RMH Franchise Investments, and Signal International. Mr. Barr is a board observer for Unio Health Partners and Integrated Pain Associates, both Triton Pacific portfolio companies. Mr. Barr received an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a B.A. in economics and a B.S. in biology from Duke University.
